I've been having a lot of irritation in my eyes, lately, and I simply thought it was an allergy reaction. But when I read this article, I kinda intuitively recognized the origin of my eye-thing, because I always rinse my eyes with water, all through each day.
So I immediately called my plumber, and got him to replace my shower-heads and all my forcet-filters.....I could barely touch the used items he removed, because they were all slimy as hell, and totally covered with a thick layer of what surely was those disease-containing organisms described in the article!

I felt so happy, after all of this was done, that I rinsed my eyes with a great big smile, and guess what? They're already hurting a whole lot less! Not only that, but my somewhat clouded vision has almost completely cleared itself!

I highly recommend that you too, call your favorite plumber!

Sometime this past weekend, I accidentally clicked on a movie and stayed there until the bitter end.
Titled "The Rain People".....written and directed in 1969 by Francis Ford Coppola and acted by James Caan and Shirley Knight, it presented a real-life version of one man and one woman abusing each other into a mutually-created hell:

The woman kept seducing and inviting.....then cruelly rejecting, the man.
The man kept seducing and inviting.....then cruelly rejecting, the woman.

It wasn't fun to watch, but it also wasn't one of those totally dishonest versions of male-female relationship-failures of the present, in which Hollywood keeps repeating that men are forever abusing their women, while women are being falsely portrayed as loving angels with a halo of innocence mounted on top of their heads.

The reality is that sometimes a man abuses his woman.....that sometimes a woman abuses her man.....that sometimes both the man and the woman abuse each other.....and that sometimes, men and women actually coexist in affectionate and caring relationships.

This "Rain People" movie was depressing as all hell and I never want to see it again, but it sure managed to reveal how infinitely dishonest our filmmakers have become, since 1969, and how they keep trying to brainwash all of us, with their psychologically false and politically twisted concepts of how things "ought to be" according to their own personal points of view.

Several years ago, I read somewhere that our Indian tribes used to draw the poison out of scorpion-stings, by covering them with the flesh of a prickly-pear cactus leaf, so I carefully (they're full of really long needles!) took one of those leaves apart, cut out the thick green interior gook, wrapped it in foil, and put it in my freezer.

This week, I thanked myself for having done that, because while I was pushing cement into some empty spaces in the wood around my front door, a scorpion attacked one of my fingers. I thought I would freak out with fear, since I had no idea what that sting might cause, but I remained amazingly calm, called my MD to catch him 10 minutes before he'd have left for the entire weekend, wrapped my finger in the foil-covered prickly-pear-gook from my freezer, and drove off.
My MD didn't get excited either. He said that nothing horrific would happen to my brain (I had asked him if I'd get totally weirded out) and that all I needed, was to get a tetanus-shot. Which I got, of course. After which I went back home again and kept that prickly-pear-gook around my finger for the next 6 hours, after which all the burning sensation of the sting had vanished.

A really pleasant thought, is that when winter arrived in a couple of months, this scorpion would for sure have crawled over the half-an-inch that separated it from getting inside my home, from where it might have created a whole lot of totally spookier harm!

And another pleasant thought is that I have now made it through an experience I had kinda secretly worried about during all the years that I've lived in the Southwest and heard all those fabricated scorpion-horror-stories with which some nasty individuals just love to scare innocent newcomers!

UPDATE 1
72 hours after I saw my MD, the sting began to hurt again, so I used a needle and tweezers to open it up and to pull out some white stuff that I assumed to be left-over poison. Then I held a clorox-dipped cotton ball against it for a while, and went online, where I discovered:

1.....Scorpion venom contains the neurotoxin CLOROTOXIN
which appears to effectively destroy brain tumors :-) :-) :-)

2.....I should have saved the offending scorpion
in a closed glass jar so it could be identified

3.....The National Poison Control Call-in-Center's
phone number is: 1-800-222-1222

4.....I should take an antihistamine pill.....so I swallowed
a BENADRYL, slept like a baby, and when I woke up,
all the pain and swelling had left.

UPDATE 2
Every 5 days, or so, my scorpion-bite swells up again, while showing a tiny hill of white poison underneath the skin. So each time, I open it up with a needle, and use my tweezers to pull out that white stuff. It seems that the poison needs to leave my body, and that my body needs to push it out. A perfect and complimentary kind of need, don't you agree? Anyway....I figured I'd share this information, since it seems to be important.

If, like me, you've been drinking a lot of water, that's a good thing, but remember that it also leaches vital nutrients out of your body. To replace them, know that the 5 essential ones are Calcium, Magnesium, Salt, Sugar, and Potassium.

Calcium needs to be with Magnesium and Magnesium needs to be with Calcium. Dolomite.......which contains the perfect amounts of each, is therefore the best way to get both.

Make sure your salt container announces the presence of IODINE (it'll say so on the box) and you should throw it out and get a new one, if that's missing.

Potassium can be found in Oranges, Bananas, Potatoes, and Raisins. I don't care for eating raisins plain or out of the box, so I keep them in a glass bowl in the refrigerator, covered by my favorite brandy.

I like to avoid heavy foods like meat and chicken, when it's hot, so I replace those with eggs, which contain plenty of Protein, lots of Iron, Zinc, B-vitamins, and the neuro-transmitter Choline.

I just watched the arrival of the 2 journalists who had been detained by North Korea, and I actually almost cried, because

1) I didn't know that one of them had a little daughter
and
2) We've all experienced so much pain about Michael Jackson's death by probable murder.....and everybody's loss of financial security.....and Pelosi's hate-infested Congressional Cartel.....and Obama pointing his pistol-finger at our heads shouting, "I want you to do what I (!) want you to do, and I want you to do it NOW!".....while there's been SO little reason for any of us to feel some non-threatening joy, that just watching Bill Clinton return to the US with those 2 women who'd been destined to enter some horrific labor camp.....brought momentary tears to my eyes.

I just re-read that last sentence, and realized that I never consciously noticed that
US.....like in United States, also stands for US.....like in:

US, THE PEOPLE
